Cognicion LLC Selects D4 for eDiscovery Managed Services
National eDiscovery leader will provide innovative, advanced technology and cost savings to litigation support firm
ROCHESTER, NY and RICHMOND, VA ‒ April 6th, 2016 ‒ Cognicion LLC, an eDiscovery and managed review provider based in Richmond, VA, announced today a partnership with D4, a leading provider of eDiscovery and managed services, through the unique D4 IaaS solution. ###>
The D4 IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solution is for law firms and corporations that already have the litigation support staff and experience they need, and wish to perform processing, review, and production functions themselves. With D4 IaaS, partnering firms have access to D4’s software and hardware, as well as D4 technical resources if, and when, they need them.
The systems developed to manage data are complex and constantly evolving. Because managing information can be a high-cost and high-stakes enterprise, D4’s advanced technology and experienced team members provide clients with solutions that meet their unique needs at a significant cost-savings. Firms and companies that contract with D4 gain access to the most sophisticated tools at a fraction of the cost it would take to develop and maintain them in-house.
The D4 partnership will provide Cognicion with the most advanced software options, including kCura’s Relativity Review Platform, immediate access to D4’s ongoing technological advances, and as-needed technical support. “Like D4, Cognicion’s greatest asset is the strong team of people who leverage the technology,” said John Holland, CEO and founder of D4. “We are very pleased to have been chosen by such a discerning group.”
Cognicion’s Chief Operating Officer, Barry Wiggins, added, “Working with D4 provides our organization with a secure and reliable environment for client data, as well as providing ready access to D4’s team who can support us as we implement and use Relativity in our day to day operations. It’s a perfect solution for a group like Cognicion.”
