A member of the D4 team for the past seven years, with over two decades of law enforcement and forensic services, John Clingerman brings expertise and a unique perspective to his role as Vice President, Forensic Services Group.
A member of the company’s Forensic Services Group, John is responsible for a number of projects and processes. He manages all digital forensic and data collection projects, and oversees all personnel, equipment, and laboratory operations in the Rochester, NY office. John also personally assists and collaborates on many projects.
As a retired law enforcement professional and former police investigator, John is not only experienced with the technical side of our field but also the investigative and legal sides. He routinely testifies in all levels of civil and criminal court from local to federal. In November 2006, he was featured in the National White Collar Crime Center’s quarterly magazine for uncovering a major international identity theft ring.
John teaches computer forensics at a local community college, as well as coaches others in the law enforcement community with the CFCE process. John holds numerous degrees in information technology, computer forensics and criminal justice, and is a licensed Private Investigator in New York State.
